I’m going to be taking part in this years Malabrigo sock KAL and I hope that you will join me..
Starting on April 1st, we’re going to knit the Temperance shawl and Malabrigo have released 3 exclusive colours in their marvellous sock yarn, jasmine, myths and gingy, but there are plenty of other colour options too..
it costs £50 to take part and that includes 3 hanks of sock and 3 zoom knit and natters.. booking is now open online.

I’m all loved up this weekend! I’ve had a delivery of new yarn and I want to stop ALL the other projects and cast something on.. this beauty is Kinross 4ply.. spun in Scotland by Todd and Duncan, this is a 100%merino lambswool in 4ply.. it’s not scoured, so lanolin heavy until you wash it when it blooms into the softest, smoothest yarn ever! It comes in 22 colours including naturals, brights and some gorgeous pastels and I have them all! It’s on the website now and in the shop window too..

Major downside of lockdown - I really miss hearing what you’re all up to craft wise, what are you all making? I’ll go first, I’m knitting the Solar poncho by Martin Storey in Rowan Alpaca soft dk.. it’s taken an age as it’s knit in the round, bottom up, so you cast on a million squillion stitches it seems.. 2/3 of the way there now though.. so show me your makes, (especially if they’re 4ply shawls, I have new yarn 😊) #makersgonnamake #knittersofinstagram #knitting_inspiration
