Had a glorious time and now I’m ready for winter.. while I was away the first of the winter yarns arrived and it’s Magnolia, an Aran weight colourful chainette of soft merino. It comes in big 100g balls of 250m, so one is enough for a hat or cowl and 4 knits this cute tunic. It’s £16.95 a ball and it’s in the shop today and I’m open 10-4!! See you soon x

I’m off on my hols.. Willy and I are going camping in France! We’re in our tent - it’s been a good decade since we last went and we’re not entirely sure we’re going to be able to get up after sleeping on the floor but we’re willing to give it a go! ⛺️ 😆
When I get back, I’m off to do our trade show, so the shop is only open for 3 days over the next couple of weeks.. and today is one of them! I’m here if you need a bank holiday project 😊xx

This summer is all about Crazy Zauberballs .. it’s such a fantastic, multi purpose yarn.. obviously it knits great socks, but it’s also brilliant for garments, accessories and it crochets wonderfully too..
this new sample is the Froschkonig Shawl for Woolpedia.. it uses just 2 crazy’s and is a great summer project. You can get the pattern from Rav and this shade is Evening hour.

View from my desk this morning… Now the house is on the market, it’s all rather chaotic here at mini hoop and I’m finding it quite difficult to focus on just one thing… more than usual if you can believe that.. which is why I’ve got 3 crochet projects and 2 knitted garments on the go and I’m only managing the odd row 😬😬😬😬😬
In anticipation of the move, every Saturday is going to be Sale Saturday this Summer.. if the weather is good, I’ll put out whatever I can find so you are welcome to come and have a rummage.

I’ve had a restock of my favourite solid sock yarn - Jawoll .. this is not just a brilliant, soft but strong sock yarn, it’s great for shawls, garments, crochet, paired with hand dyed.. it’s just a fantastic all rounder basically and has an enormous range of colours ..I’m actually planning a Quirky Quintet shawl by Stephen West but am having a hard time choosing colours as I want them all 😬😆 am currently veering towards mustard and aubergine .. what do you reckon??
