I’ve got an Easter egg for you .. and one that’s not calorific!
As you know I’ve just been to the trade show in Cologne and when I was there, I WAS tempted and I HAVE bought more yarn! 😬😆🧶
This means I need to sell off some lines to get money in to pay for the new yarn AND make some room for the new yarn..
so I have some Rowan lines at the very lowest clearance prices they can be!
Tweed Haze and Fine Tweed Haze are not £14.30 but £8!!!
Alpaca Classic is not 6.95 but £4!
Alpaca Soft is not 9.50 but £5.50!
Cotton Cashmere is not 10.35 but £6 a ball!

I knit this version using Jawoll silk and kidsilk haze and the colour is just fabulous .. it’s in stock in the shop and I’m open over the Easter weekend as normal Thurs/ Good Fri and Sat 10-4.30 if you need a project (you do! 😘)

I’m in the crochet mood atm.. and I’m currently hooking a top down, short sleeve sweater from this fantastic book by #lindaskuja .. I’m working with Merino 150, a sport weight merino from Lang Yarns in the most incredible deep red and it’s coming out beautifully, soft and light and you would never know it’s crochet! LOVE it!! I’m in the shop today till 4.30 if you’d like to have a look.

I thought I was going to be showing of my new sun hat this morning, but actually I’m wearing it as a sou’wester thanks to the pouring rain! Ah well, I’m ready for when the sun does show it’s face! 🌞
I love this stuff, it’s Wool and the Gang Ra Ra Raffia, crochets excellent bags and hats.. and I have new patterns and new colours in the shop now..

How often do you knit something you’re really thrilled with? Not just pleased.. but absolutely love? It’s not that often right?? This is one of those times for me.. I absolutely love this shawl, the pattern, the duck egg blue yarn, it’s a hard recommend from me 😍
So this is Erysimum shawl by Celine Feyten, available on Rav of course.. and I knit this using Hjertegarn Highland fine, which is a great value pure wool 4ply.. sadly I don’t have kits available atm because both the beige and brown are out of stock, but I do have 1 space left on a little class I’m running next weekend that includes the yarn, so grab it while you can…
Of course you can knit this shawl in any fingering/ 4ply yarn and I have lots to choose from, so come over and have a browse ..
Also please tell me your BEST EVER knits so I can add them to my queue 😆😘

I back from seeing my gorgeous shops in windy south Wales, and I’m always pleased to see boxes of yarn have arrived whilst I’ve been away.. this one makes me very happy as I’ve been waiting aaaages for this colourway to come back Into stock.. it’s Alpaca soxx handyed from Lang yarns in sh 5, this fabulous hot pink combination. I used it for my Albuquerque sunset shawl by Casapinka and it’s so soft and cosy, I’ve been wearing it all week.. yarn and kits in stock now both online and in the shop.. xx
