Following on from the success of its chunky sister, this is Fine Tweed Haze, a soft, hairy blend of 37% alpaca, 37% wool, with cotton, polyamide and polyester in a DK weight… Those of you who like hairy yarns but struggle with mohair will be thrilled to know its’ mohair free!
Available in 10 colours, with some soft natural colours as well as a fabulous cerise pink and bright orange, this yarn is great for colour work and stripes. The patterns for this new yarn are in the main Rowan Magazine 74 .. you can see the designs and purchase the book here.
This is such a light ball, the meterage is huge! 215m per ball but knitting to a DK tension…. if you are substituting yarns, you will need 1/2 the amount of balls .. DK merino 120m – DK fine Tweed Haze 215m
