Fri 13th March 2020 – 7.00pm to 9.00pm
Are you itching to knit a sweater in the round, but not sure where to start? then come and join this KAL for the gorgeous Love Note Sweater by Tin Can Knits.
An adventurous, but quick knit, this is worked on large needles using a strand of fingering weight yarn and a strand of mohair held double, however you can also knit this using a DK weight yarn.
Starting with a provisional cast on, there is lots to learn, knitting in the round, lace work, German short row shaping and using a magic loop or dpns, so this project is for confident knitters.
This first session will be a taught class, Vanessa will talk through the pattern, demonstrate techniques and give tips… subsequent sessions will be a social group with support and help when you need it.
Session 1 £20 or £25 including pattern
Subsequent sessions £5
Materials My sample is knit using Erika Knight Wool Local 4ply and Rowan Kidsilk Haze held double.
An adult size M costs £62.90
Needles: you will need 4.5 / 6mm circular needles and/or DPNs.
