Description
Love Note Sweater – Saturday 21st October 2pm – 5pm
Are you itching to knit a sweater in the round, but not sure where to start? then come and join this KAL for the gorgeous Love Note Sweater by Tin Can Knits.
An adventurous, but quick knit, this is worked on large needles using a strand of fingering weight yarn and a strand of mohair held double, however you can also knit this using a DK weight yarn.
Starting with a provisional cast on, there is lots to learn, knitting in the round, lace work, German short row shaping and using a magic loop or dpns, so this project is for confident knitters.
This first session will be a taught class, Vanessa will talk through the pattern, demonstrate techniques, give tips and get you going.
For the rest of 2023, there will be a Makealong group on alternate Saturday afternoons.. when you get to a point where you’d like some help, or have made a mistake that you’d like me to look at or just fancy some company, then book a place.
Session 1 – £20 / 25 class with / without pattern. This does not include yarn.
Subsequent sessions – free
Materials – My sample is knit using Erika Knight Wool Local 4ply and Rowan Kidsilk Haze held double. there are plenty of yarns to choose from including solids and variegated yarns. To take part in this KAL you need to purchase your yarn at hoop…
